The scientific directorate evaluates all applications for IBS funding. In this way, the scientific quality of the IBS workshops and IBS projects and IBS seminars is sustainably secured. The scientific directorate is made up of four members who are appointed by the IBS foundation board. The foundation board is chairman of the scientific directorate:
