Germany, and Central Germany in particular, has a great responsibility in the age of digitization. Opportunities and possibilities can only be exploited in a targeted manner with a high level of expertise and far-reaching social integration. The risks and limits of digitization must also be evaluated and limited in an interdisciplinary dialog. In a shared society characterized by dialog and transfer, prosperity, peace and social interaction are based on digitization, IT technology and interdisciplinary research in information technology.
